How to: Dynomat the knock sensor. (Fixes bogging issue)
Did this to show why it was done and what this thread actually is. Great job to the OP for this!
WARNING: To everyone who does this. Do NOT use anything but 91+ octane gas with this done. This sensor is to stop your engine from severe damage in the event their cheapo owners get crappy gas to save a couple of dollars. By doing this mod you are effectively making this sensor inoperable so its up to the owner to not screw up their own engine.

first of all you got to put the car on jack stands or on a lift. then look at the back of the block under the intake manifold. looks like this.

then you get some dynamat and you only need like a piece thats like a 2 in sqaure.
fold the piece in half and cut a small hole in the center for the bolt to go through, oh and the bolt uses a 12mm wrench to lossen it.
then put the sticky side on the ks and fold up or cut the left over on the sides. i folded the sides cus i didnt want to cut them off and chance damage to the ks.looks lke this.

ok after you wrap it you need to bolt it back up using the 12mm wrench, do it snug tight not super tight.looks like this when done.

ok its really easy to do, the bolt is easy to access just use a flathead to undo it from the connection. be gentle with the ks. and dont tighten it down to tight. the test drive after the job was great the car really felt more responsive, felt like it should feel, i was inpressed.
i bought 2 sheets of the dyna mat from the local audio store cus they didnt have any scrap to give me, so i have a whole lot left. if you want i can mail you the portion youll need to do the job just let me know and ill get your address and put some in the mail for you, i have no use for the extra so if you want some i hae no prob mailing you some no cost.
hope this helps anyone wanting to do this to ur ks. let me know if you have any questions.
